Upon arrival at Mohammed V International Airport, you will be greeted by our local representative. From there, we will begin our journey to Rabat, the imperial and political capital of Morocco We will visit the Chellah Roman ruins, Oudayas Kasbah, Mohamed V Mausoleum, medieval Hassan Tower, and the exterior of the current Royal Palace. Arrive at your hotel to check in, dinner and retire for the night.

After breakfast, check out and depart with your national guide for Fez via Rabat, Meknes, and Volubilis. Rabat: Visit the Chellah Roman ruins, Oudaya Kasbah, Mohamed V Mausoleum, the medieval Hassan Tower, and view the exterior of the Royal Palace. Then we head to Meknes with stops at the Yacoub El Mansour Gateways, the Palace Tomb of Moulay Ismail, and the imperial stables. Lunch at a local Moroccan restaurant. After lunch, we will depart for Volubilis, where we will explore the Roman ruins and mosaics of this former capital of the Roman Province of Mauritania, once home to Cleopatra Selene and King Juba II.

Arrive in Fez, Morocco’s spiritual and intellectual capital. Check into your hotel. Dinner buffet included

After breakfast, enjoy a full-day guided sightseeing tour of Fez, one of Morocco’s four Imperial cities and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Breakfast and check out. Drive to Marrakech via Ifrane (an alpine-style village) and Azrou.

Travel through the Middle Atlas with views of fruit orchards (oranges, grapefruit, apricots, apples, figs) and make short stops to meet locals. 

Lunch on your own along the route. Arrive in Marrakech, check in at your hotel, and enjoy dinner.

After breakfast, meet your local guide for a full-day tour of Marrakech, “the Pearl of the South.” Founded in the 11th century, this Imperial city once served as Morocco’s capital. Visits include:

Lunch on your own at the famous Djemaa el-Fna square, followed by free time for shopping. In the evening, enjoy dinner and entertainment at a local restaurant. Return to your hotel and retire for the night.

After breakfast, we will depart for a day trip to the coastal city Essaouira, a favorite vacation spot for several 1970s rock stars. This former Portuguese fort, once called Mogador, means “fortress surrounded by ramparts”. Essaouira is also known for production of Argan oil. On the road, we will stop by a women’s cooperative where you will witness the making of Argan oil and other related products. Lunch will be served at a local seafood restaurant. With our guide we will visit the medina, the old Mellah or Jewish quarter, and the North Bastion. Enjoy some free time for shopping. Later return to your hotel for dinner.

Breakfast and check out. Drive to Casablanca. Lunch on your own at the Morocco Mall. If time permits, visit the Hassan II Mosque (exterior) and Mohammed V Square. Check into your hotel and freshen up before dinner at the iconic Rick’s Café. Return to your hotel and rest for the night.

Breakfast, baggage handling, and check out. Transfer to Mohamed V International Airport for your flight back home.
