 ITINERARY

DAY ONE

Casablanca / Rabat                                                                                         B, L, D

Arrive at the Med V airport in Casablanca, meet and greet by your driver then transfer to your hotel in Rabat. Lunch will be served at your hotel included. Meet with your local guide for an afternoon tour of the capital city of Morocco. You will visit the Chellah Roman ruins, Oudayas Kasbah, Mohamed V Mausoleum, medieval Hassan Tower, and the exterior of the current Royal Palace. Return to your hotel for dinner. Rest for the day.

 

DAY TWO

Asilah/Tangier                                                                                                   B, L, D

Enjoy your breakfast and check out. Meet your driver, then depart for Tangier via Asilah, similar to Greece, with its whitewashed houses and blue walls and doors. Asilah is an art city with many beautiful murals covering the interior city walls. Today’s lunch is on the road included. Arrive at your hotel in Tangier to check-in. Dinner will be served at your hotel included. Retire for the day.

 

DAY THREE

Tangier                                                                                                                  B D

After breakfast, meet your local guide for to discover Tangier, the city that has always fascinated artists such as, Henri Matisse, Tennessee Williams, Mark Twain, and others. Visit Petit Socco Square and its cafés, especially the famous Tingis. Tour the museum of the old American Legation, if open, where paintings are on display and one room is dedicated to the American writer Paul Bowles. Enjoy a pleasant walk in Mendoubia Park situated north of Grand Socco Square. Discover a giant banyan tree and a dragon tree, alleged to be 800 years old. Today’s lunch is on your own, and dinner at a local restaurant is included. Return to your hotel and retire for the night.

 

DAY FOUR

Chefchouen/Fez         (Long drive, but a spectacular view)                           B, D

This morning after breakfast and check out, we depart for Fes via the city of Chefchouen with its blue and white lime-washed houses. Enjoy the attractive view of the grand Tarik-Ben- Ziad mosque whose octagonal minaret is inspired by that of the Torre de Oro in Seville. This Andalousian architecture can be found in the kasbah and its gardens at the center of the medina. Its walls and its 11 crenelated towers, of which one used to be a dungeon, house an interesting ethnographic museum. Enjoy your lunch on own, then drive to Fes, arrive at your hotel and check-in. Enjoy your dinner and rest for the night.

 

DAY FIVE

Fez                                                                                                                     B, D

After breakfast, we will join our national tour guide for a full day sightseeing tour of Fes, one of the Imperial cities in Morocco and UNESCO World Heritage Site. The tour includes the Gateway of the Royal Palace, the Jewish Quarter ”Mellah”, the 15th-century Borj Nord or north fort, and the 9th-century world’s oldest university. We will stop at local handicrafts factories such as pottery, brass, textiles, and a bakery where everything is made in the traditional Moroccan way. Return to your hotel and freshen up for dinner. Enjoy your dinner with musical entertainment at a local restaurant.

 

DAY SIX

Meknes/Volubilis/Fes                                                                                        L, B, D

Enjoy your breakfast and check out. Meet your driver, then head with to Fes via Meknes and Volubilis. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant included. The 17th-century historic city of Meknes includes the Yacoub El Mansour Gateways, the Palace Tomb of Moulay Ismail, the ruins of the vast imperial stables, if time permits, and granaries. After lunch, we will drive to the Roman ruins and mosaics of Volubilis. It was once upon a time the capital of the Roman province of Mauritania and the house of Sylene, Antony, and Cleopatra’s daughter, who married the Berber King Juba of Gallienus. Arrive in Fes the spiritual, intellectual, and once the capital city of Morocco. Check in to your hotel. Dinner at your hotel restaurant included.

 

DAY SEVEN

Fez/Erfoud      (Long drive, but a spectacular view)                                      B, D

After breakfast and check out, we will depart with our driver toward Erfoud via Ifrane (A long drive, but a spectacular view). Lunch is on own on the road. Arrive at your hotel in Erfoud to check-in. Enjoy your dinner included at your hotel and rest for the night.

 

DAY EIGHT

Erfoud / Marzouga / Ouarzazate                                                                    B, L, D

Early wake-up to head to the Sahara desert of Merzouga by 4×4 to experience the beauty of the sunrise and camel trekking. Return back to your hotel to freshen and breakfast. After check out, we will drive to Ouarzazate through the Atlas mountains (600 feet high) across a variety of spectacular sites such as kasbahs, canyons, and valleys. Lunch is on the road included. It will be a long drive but an enjoyable one. Check-in at your hotel in Ouarzazate and freshen up for dinner included.

 

DAY NINE

Ouarzazate/Marrakech (Long drive, but a spectacular view)                     B, L, D

Enjoy your hot breakfast this morning included and check out. Depart with our driver for a morning tour of the city to include two magnificent Kasbahs: Tifoultoute and Taourir. We continue our trip toward The Atlas Studio & Ait Benhaddou where famous movies were filmed such as The Mummy, Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, Alexander the Great, and more. Lunch on the site included. Resume our trip to Marrakech via the High Atlas Mountains. Arrive at your hotel to check-in, and dinner for the night is included.

 

DAY TEN

Marrakech                                                                                                         B

Enjoy your breakfast this morning at your hotel included. Meet your local guide for a full day sightseeing tour of the pearl of the south. This imperial city was founded in the 11th century and once upon a time was the capital city of Morocco. Lunch on your own in a local restaurant. Our visits will include the Koutoubia Mosque, known as a masterpiece of the Almohades art, the Bahia Palace, Dar Si Said Museum, Ben Youssef Madrasa among the oldest Islamic schools in Morocco, and Menara Garden Garden. Return to your hotel and freshen up for dinner and entertainment at a local restaurant included.

 

DAY ELEVEN

Marrakech / Essaouira / Marrakech                                                                B, L

Enjoy your breakfast buffet at your hotel included, then depart with your driver for a day trip to the city of Essaouira once called Mogador under the Portuguese era. You will stop by a women’s cooperative to witness the making of Argan oil. Lunch in a local seafood restaurant overlooking the water. Return to hotel and free in the evening. Dinner is on own.

 

DAY TWELVE

Marrakech / Casablanca                                                                                  B, D

After breakfast and check, meet your driver then depart for Casablanca. Lunch is on own at the Morocco Mall. After will make stops by the exterior of the Hassan II Mosque, and the Mohammed V square. Arrive at your hotel and check-in. Farewell dinner tonight will be served at your hotel restaurant. Retire for the night.

 

DAY THIRTEEN

Casablanca airport                                                                                             B

After breakfast and check out, we will depart for the airport for a safe flight back home.
