Itineraries

Day One

Casablanca/ Rabat

Arrive at the Mohamed V airport and transfer to your hotel, and take time off to relax in the morning. Enjoy your lunch at a local Mediterranean restaurant in Rabat, the modern-day capital. After lunch, we will visit the Chellah Roman ruins, Oudaya Kasbah, Mohamed V Mausoleum, medieval Hassan Tower, and the exterior of the current Royal Palace with our local guide. Return to your hotel for dinner and rest for the night.

DAY TWO

Meknes/ Volubilis/ Fez

Enjoy your breakfast and check out. This morning, we will head with our national guide to Fez via Meknes and Volubilis. Our morning guided tour of this 17th-century historic city of Meknes includes the Yacoub El Mansour Gateways, the Palace Tomb of Moulay Ismail, the ruins of the vast imperial stables, if time permits, and granaries. Lunch will be served at the Terrab Restaurant, or a similar Moroccan cuisine will be included. After lunch, we will drive to the Roman ruins and mosaics of Volubilis. It was once upon a time the capital of the Roman Province of Mauritania and the house of Sylene, Antony, and Cleopatra’s daughter, who married the Berber King Juba of Gallienus. Arrive at Fez, the spiritual, intellectual, and once capital city of Morocco. Check into your hotel. Dinner buffet at your property restaurant included.

DAY THREE

Fez

After breakfast, we will join our national tour guide for a full-day sightseeing tour of Fez, one of the four oldest Imperial cities in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lunch at a local restaurant is included. The tour includes the great Gateway of the Royal Palace, the Jewish Quarter ”Mellah”, the 15th century Borj Nord or north fort, and the 9th century oldest university of the world which was founded by a woman. We will also make a few stops at local handicrafts factories, such as pottery, brass, textiles, rugs, and a bakery where everything is made in the traditional Moroccan way. Return to your hotel and freshen up for dinner. Enjoy your dinner and musical entertainment at a famous Restaurant in Fez.

DAY FOUR

Ifrane/ Azrou/ Marrakech

Breakfast and check out. We will head for Marrakech via Ifrane, an alpine-style village, and Azrou. Lunch this time is on the road on your own. We will drive through magical scenery at the foot of the Middle Atlas, where all kinds of fruit trees are planted, such as oranges, grapefruit, apricots, apples, and figs. You should also expect a few short breaks along the road, where you will have the opportunity to meet with the locals. Arrive and check in at your hotel. Dinner at your hotel is included.

DAY FIVE

Marrakech

Enjoy your breakfast this morning at your hotel, included. Meet our national guide for a full-day sightseeing tour of the pearl of the south. This imperial city was founded in the 11^th century and, once upon a time, was the capital city of Morocco. Lunch and free time for shopping on your own at the famous Djamaa El Fn’a square. Our visits will include the Koutoubia Mosque, known as a masterpiece of the Almohades dynasty art, the Bahia Palace, Dar Si Said Museum, and the Menara garden. Return to your hotel and freshen up for dinner and entertainment. Return to your hotel and retire for the night.

DAY SIX

Marrakech/ Casablanca

Enjoy your breakfast, then check out. Depart for Casablanca, where you will visit the exterior of the Hassan II Mosque, the Habous shopping quarter, the Royal Palace exterior, and the Mohammed V square. Arrive at your hotel and check in. Farewell dinner tonight will be served at the famous Rick’s Café Restaurant, based on the famous movie Casablanca. Return to your hotel and retire for the night.
